It’s been a busy couple of years and I’ve finally gotten around to updating the website. Read on to find out what I’ve been up to.
Shaft of Steel‘s debut EP was released in September 2014 and the response was astounding. We knew we had something special, but we didn’t expect so many rave reviews in the music press or the bulk orders from as far afield as Japan. This was only the tip of the iceberg. Following this flurry of activity, we found ourselves supporting VEGA on the London date of their Stereo Messiah tour and we were very kindly asked to open the prestigious Hard Rock Hell AOR Festival in 2015.
Last year, I briefly swapped 6 strings for 4 (well, 5…), with a stint as touring bassist for Serpentine, appearing at the first Rockingham Festival at the famous Nottingham Rock City.
I’m currently putting the finishing touches to the Shaft of Steel album and we’re preparing to debut these new songs live at The Camden Underworld in December (supporting VEGA once again). After being locked away in the studio for so long, I’ve really got the itch to play more gigs. I’ve also started a YouTube channel, which I plan to update frequently with guitar and production videos.
That’s all for now. See you next time!
